Sebastian Petersen is an illustrator and amateur archivist living on the Central Coast of California.

He graduated from the California College of the Arts in 2021 with an Illustration BFA. Additional studies in industrial design at the Pasadena College of Design and fine arts at the San Fransico Art Institution.

 

He was raised in an old ranch house in the arid oak savannas of Southern California, where he spent much of his time reading, walking in the fields, and sculpting. If there were a word to describe his practice, it would be documentary.

 

This site is an archive that is split into several spaces, each documenting work and theory in their respective categories. Journal: follows projects and updates. Process: expresses methodology.
